With the rest of the A-ride indisposed, a solo 180km-along / 3500m-up hack over Pendle and around Hebden Bridge seemed in order. It was, as expected, absolutely bloody brutal, with a special shout-out to Official Climbs #139 Mytholm Steeps for being exceptionally horrible. But the rain held off and the views over there are sensational - a real prize if your eyes are still working at the top of the climbs. ?? (You can bugger off if you want a bigger report with any jokes in, I'm off to lie down for a week.)
