Barley. Lots of hills. Hard work. We set off from Garstang with some trepidation to tackle some big hills. Paula had to head back home after a few short miles because of gear problems. Keith led us round via a few diversions to avoid some poor quality roads. He was our very capable RC although he did delegate the task of the write up to me even though I sloped off at Whalley. We conquered some big 'ills, not least Pendle (from the hard side). They said it couldn't be done but we did it. There were mutterings among the ranks. 'This is no B2 ride' some said. Despite all the swearing, cursing and grunting, we did really well. I for one really enjoyed the ride. I am enjoying a nice rest now. Please tag yourselves on the ride. And feel free to ad pictures
