Ride Reports
Saturday 10th November 2018
B2 - Jubilee Tower – 50 Miles - Shane Blackmore
Given the forecast and my lack of fitness I was a little apprehensive about this ride.
Fortunately the forecast was wrong and we stayed dry.
8 of us left the cobbles with John Keohane catching us up later on.
As we made our way to Quernmore via Scorton I was quickly found myself at the rear of the group on the climbs.
As is usual with the B2’s I eventually caught the rest of the group at the next junction.
We arrived at Quermore where Steve left us for an early finish.
As we continued onto Galgate it was suggested that we visit the animal Sanctuary rather than the craft store this we was agreed and was the next port of call.
Leaving the café we headed to Galgate and onto Glasson leaving Glasson it was tough cycling into the wind and I found myself at the rear of the group again.
Keith left us around Pilling to make his way home.
All of the group left at different stages as we neared Garstang.
